Training Method
I use positive reinforcement training. It is an effective, evidence based, ethical way to encourage the behaviors we desire through rewards. The only difference between a well behaved dog and a misbehaved dog is an educated owner. Training the human how to communicate helps your dog understand what is expected within their environment. My goal is to show you how to incorporate your dog and make them a part of all your adventures and everyday life.
I am CPDT-KA® certified. CPDT-KA® certification recognizes the knowledge and experience of professional dog trainers. Certificants must provide references that attest to their work and pass a rigorous written exam that focuses on the science behind dog behavior and the application of training techniques. CPDT-KA® certification provides an independent, scientifically valid measure of an individual's understanding of the field of dog training, including instruction skills, learning theory, ethology, equipment, and husbandry.

Our Services
Private Lessons
In person or virtual sessions working with you and Fido. Private lessons help target unwanted behaviors in environments you live in the most. Our goal is to work on issues at home, obedience, or teaching Fido to relax in public places. We can achieve this with private lessons.
Walk & Train
New puppy who needs frequent potty breaks? Long day in the office? Scheduled sniff walks are highly rewarding for Fido. Proven to reduce stress, reactivity, and other unwanted behaviors. I will be encouraging respectful loose leash walking and will discourage unwanted behaviors.
Hike & Train
High intensity terrain or long and methodical hiking. During the outing we will use recall games and obedience to keep Fido attentive. Each adventure will be tailored to you and Fido’s specific needs. Great physical and mental stimulation. Pick-up and drop-off at your home!All prices determined on a case-by-case basis.
In person services are offered within a 30 mile radius of Wausau, WI.
